Multiple Allison Homes Central locations named as top places to live in 2023

We are delighted to learn that a number of our Central region locations have been named as the top places to live in the UK, by The Times and popular guide Muddy Stilettos.

Our Farriers Reach development has been recognised twice, as both the county and the town it resides in made the list. Located off Main Road in Barleythorpe, Oakham, in the heart of Rutland, the development is a beautiful collection of one and two bedroom apartments, and two, three and four bedroom houses.

The county of Rutland was named by The Times as one of the top places to live in the Midlands due to its high quality schools, beautiful villages and countryside, and convenient amenities. The town of Oakham was selected by Muddy Stilettos due to its “fabulous shopping, great travel connections, charming buildings, beautiful country pubs and a well-heeled vibe.”

Ramsey is home to our Cromwell Fields development, which is comprised of a stunning collection of four bedroom homes situated on Upwood Road. The charming market town made Muddy Stilettos’ list due to its warm and welcoming community, stunning waterways and nature reserves, and nearby attractions ranging from historic buildings to exciting shopping.

Finally, our Kings Meadow development, which is a stunning collection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes, is nestled in the heart of Newark-on-Trent. Muddy Stilettos called the town “a fantastic place for families and professional couples” and praised the beautiful Georgian and Victorian architecture, convenient transport links and host of amenities.

Charlotte Barber, Sales Manager at Allison Homes Central, said: “We are delighted to learn that so many of our Allison Homes locations have been recognised as some of the best places to live in the UK.

“Choosing where to build a new development is such an important stage in the housebuilding process and we take into account everything from the availability of local schools, to transport links to community culture in our search so its wonderful to see that hard work pay off”.
