Completion of affordable homes at ‘The Skylarks’ in Frampton
Housing provider Amplius has been officially handed the final homes at The Skylarks in Frampton, near Boston in Lincolnshire, by housebuilder Allison Homes. This marks a significant milestone in their joint initiative to deliver more affordable housing in the area. The development comprises 64 new homes, now ready for residents to move in.
Marcus Keys, Chief Development and Commercial Officer at Amplius, said: “The Skylarks helps address the need for quality and affordable housing in this area of Lincolnshire and gives local families and those who can’t afford to buy or rent homes on the open market the chance to find their ideal home.
“The homes meet good design practices and are fit for purpose both now and into the future.
“We’re delighted to see the final properties completed and handed over and we hope our new customers are happy with their new homes.”
Amplius and Allison Homes enjoy a long-standing partnership, with several sites across the region delivering hundreds of new and affordable homes. The Skylarks is a key project for ‘Allison Partnerships’, a dedicated division committed to high-quality homes where they’re needed most.
Marcus added: “Our partnership with Allison Homes is important in helping us achieve our ambition of building 1,000 new homes a year, as well as providing the homes people want in the areas they’re needed most.
“It continues to go from strength to strength and we look forward to progressing our other sites in the future.”
The Skylarks is made up of one, two, three and four-bedroom houses with parking, private gardens and amenity spaces.
The homes have also been made available on various tenures, including social rent and Shared Ownership.
Mark Bogg, Site Manager at The Skylarks, Allison Homes, added: “The site team and I take great pride in handing over these final homes. It’s been a privilege to deliver quality, energy-efficient properties that will serve Frampton families well for years to come.”
Andy Richards, Regional Production Director of Allison Homes East, said: “Our partnership with Amplius is something we’re really proud of, and finishing the final homes here is a wonderful moment for us all. Together we’ve created high-quality, sustainable shared ownership homes that support local families and bring much-needed affordable housing to the area.”
To commemorate this project, Allison Homes recently donated £6,400 to Boston-based charity ‘Local Hope’, who are using the funding to create decorative wall murals for the children’s ward at the nearby Pilgrim Hospital. The artwork is set to be unveiled in the coming months.
