1. Norfolk Broads

2. Norwich Castle
Founded by William the Conqueror between 1066 and 1075, Norwich Castle is in the heart of the city and home to Norwich Museum, where visitors can view collections of archaeology, fine art and natural history.
Currently, the castle is undergoing a major development project meaning some key areas are temporarily closed, but there are still plenty of zones open for visitors, including art galleries, special exhibition galleries, the Egyptian collections and Royal Norfolk Regiment collections, as well as a pop-up café and shop.

3. Norwich Cathedral
Norwich Cathedral is an iconic landmark and place of worship that has been standing for more than 900 years. Within the Cathedral are four Chapels, one of which, St Saviour’s Chapel, was built in the 1930s as a memorial to those who died in the First World War. To the back of this Chapel is the Grave of Nurse Edith Cavell, who was the pioneer of professional nursing training during the war.
Guided tours are on offer, and visitors can also browse a shop with locally-sourced gifts, enjoy lunch at an award-winning café and spend time in the relaxing Herb Garden.

4. Norwich Theatre Royal
Located in the centre of Norwich, the Theatre Royal is an independent, not-for-profit charity hosting a vibrant programme of live performances and engaging activities, often in collaboration with local artists and community groups, schools and charities.
From big productions like The Bodyguard, The Rocky Horror Show and Life of Pi, to traditional ballets of The Nutcracker and Swan Lake, to comedians such as Tom Allen and Frankie Boyle, there is something for everyone.
