Allison Homes South West secures new Lydney site as part of regional growth plans
Allison Homes South West is set to expand into a new patch after securing a residential development site in Lydney, Gloucestershire.
The 12.44-acre site, which lies at the northern end of Allaston Road, northeast of Lydney, has outline planning permission for up to 80 new homes.
The housebuilder exchanged contracts on the site in July, with the purchase due to complete later this year.
Once fully built, the proposed development will bring forward a high-quality new residential scheme in a sustainable location, helping to provide much-needed homes to local people. The securing of this site also marks Allison Homes South West’s first move into Gloucestershire, extending its reach to a new part of the region.

Allison Homes South West will now work towards the next stages of the planning and development process, including bringing forward more detailed proposals for the site in due course.
Allison Homes continues to build momentum across the South West, having recently been granted planning permission for 70 new homes in Congresbury, making strong progress on its Centric Parc planning application in Bristol, and currently selling the final few homes at its High Moor View development in Winkleigh.
The housebuilder is also delivering 100% affordable homes at its sites in Tiverton with LiveWest, in Witheridge with L&G and in Crewkerne with Abri.
