Allison Homes South West hosts networking events for agents, subcontractors and suppliers
As a region with huge potential, the South West is an integral part of the future of the Allison Group.
The Allison Homes South West team aspires to grow and create thriving communities across the region in Devon, Somerset, and beyond.
Last week the team hosted two fantastic networking events for subcontractors, suppliers, and land agents as they look to create long-lasting working relationships.
The ambitious vision for the region was shared during these events with speeches delivered by newly appointed managing director Matt Bennett and commercial director Alan Bray. Both discussed the South West growth strategy, current sites, and land pipeline, further to this the speakers explained how Allison Homes engages with business partners to support the customer journey step by step.
Attendees also had the opportunity to hear from the Group CEO John Anderson through the premiere of his ‘South West vision’ video. In this video, John highlights how Allison Homes supports its homebuyers throughout the duration of the customer journey, the value of relationships with agents and the supply chain, and how business is making its mark in the wider region.
Championing Mental Health
Over the past few years, mental health has become an important topic of discourse across various industries.
During the event, the South West team introduced attendees to the Lighthouse Club – The Construction Industry Charity to discuss how mental health within the construction sector can be addressed.
The Lighthouse Club provides emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families. Suicide is a higher cause of death in the industry than accidents or falls and it is important more is done to help and support colleagues and their families.
Commenting on the events Allison Homes South West managing director Matt Bennett said “Our events presented the team with a fantastic opportunity to share our vision with subcontractors, suppliers, and agents. The team thoroughly enjoyed networking and building upon great relationships with like-minded professionals in the industry. We look forward to seeing existing and new relationships flourish as the business works towards its ambitious growth plans.”
