Allison Homes celebrates prestigious ‘Site Manager of the Year’ Highly Commended Award
Andy Smith, Site Manager at Allison Homes, has been awarded the LABC Warranty Highly Commended Site Manager Award of the Year 2025. LABC (Local Authority Building Control) is the UK’s leading organisation for building control expertise, ensuring high standards in construction and safety. This award recognises his outstanding leadership and exceptional contribution to the Elsea Park development in Bourne, in the company’s Central region.
The LABC Warranty Site Manager Awards are among the most respected accolades in the UK housing sector. Each year, they recognise the country’s most dedicated and skilled site managers for their excellence, commitment, and contribution to delivering high-quality homes across the regions.
Site managers are nominated for the awards by LABC Warranty’s local risk surveyors, who inspect as many as 3,000 homes each year. Only a small number of site managers are nominated, making a nomination and an award a rare and prestigious achievement.

Andy Smith shared, “I am thrilled to have been recognised by LABC Warranty for the Highly Commended Site Manager Award. The Elsea Park development by Allison Homes has been an inspirational project to work on, delivering 48 affordable homes for local people through its Partnerships division in conjunction with Accent Housing.
“Receiving this award is a testament to the hard work and collaboration of everyone involved in the project, and I am incredibly proud of what has been achieved.”
Andy Smith has worked at Allison Homes for nearly four years and has managed the Elsea Park development since its inception. His leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to quality have been key to the development’s success.
“Even with all the additional challenges posed by labour and materials shortages over the past few years, site managers have continued their invaluable work on new homes,” said Sarah Dee Shapland, Head of Technical Services at LABC Warranty. “Despite more unprecedented challenges, the standard of construction across the board has once again been excellent, and it’s a privilege to recognise site managers for their contributions to that.”
Elsea Park, delivered through Allison Homes’ Partnerships division in collaboration with Accent Housing, provides much-needed affordable homes for the Bourne community and reflects Allison Homes’ commitment to building high-quality, sustainable housing across the region.
Cherise Berridge, Assistant Development Director of Accent Housing, said: “Quality and attention to detail are essential in delivering homes that truly meet the long-term needs of residents, and the recognition of Andy Smith and the Allison Homes team through this prestigious award is thoroughly deserved. At Accent Housing, we value the care and professionalism that Allison Homes brings to each of our developments, and Elsea Park is a shining example of what strong partnership working can deliver for the community.”
Having received this highly commended regional award, Andy is now in contention to progress to the national finals of the LABC Warranty Site Manager Awards, with winners to be announced at the prestigious Grand Finals event in January 2026.
