Meet some of the key players that make up our South West team

At Allison Homes, we’re all about teamwork, success, and continuous improvement. We love seeing our family grow and we believe that everyone can make a difference to our business and to the communities we build and serve.

As we’re nearing the end of 2022, we wanted to spotlight a few members of the South West team that have played an active role in our team success across the region.

Jamie Snell

Jamie Snell is our multi-talented Assistant Land Manager, aka the king of planning and negotiating! If you ask anyone at Allison Homes what Jamie’s greatest strength is, they will tell you, ‘Spreadsheets!’ As well as having a background in estate agency, Jamie has specialised in development land agency and consultancy, and successfully negotiated the purchase of what will be our largest ever site earlier this year.

As a former, professional musician who has been on tour with Muse and The Stranglers, it is clear our Assistant Land Manager has many hidden talents. When Jamie is not assessing sites, he can be found playing bass in a band and enjoying time with his two daughters. Jamie has recently celebrated his one-year anniversary and we want to say a massive thank you for all his commitment and hard work. We couldn’t imagine the workplace without you Jamie!

Jessica Perry

Introducing Jessica Perry, our Commercial Assistant. Jessica is a fantastic member of the team, and her day-today actions span a number of things. These include handling invoice queries, raising orders to send out to the suppliers, updating orders with any price increases and more. Jessica has been with the team since 2020 and approaches her role with charisma, confidence, and a positive attitude. Most days in the office she tends to be laughing or smiling!

In her free time, Jessica is very family orientated, spending time with her children and dog. She loves going out to visit her family, going to the pub or just staying at home and spending quality time with each other!

Ian MacMartin

Ian MacMartin is our expert in all things technical. His role here at Allison Homes South West is Technical Director, in which he primarily manages and coordinates the planning and technical provision for the regional business. Aside from his busy day-to-day duties, he enjoys keeping fit, relaxing, and enjoying quality time with family and friends.

With over 35 years within the construction sector, it is safe to say Ian knows his stuff. A fun fact we would probably never have guessed about Ian is that he was a keen ‘modern jive dancer.’ Shame we don’t have a jive dancing position to offer him within the company!
