Allison Homes donates over 100 Easter eggs to Peterborough Foodbank

Our Central and Group regions marked the Easter period by donating more than 100 chocolate eggs to Peterborough Foodbank, helping bring a small moment of joy to families in need.

In the run up to Easter, colleagues came together to organise a collection, resulting in a total of 108 eggs being donated to the charity. The eggs were personally delivered to Peterborough Foodbank by team members Louise Rockliffe and Melanie Cragg.

Peterborough Foodbank was established in October 2012 by local churches and community groups working together to tackle hunger in the area. The organisation continues to rely on donations from local businesses and the public to support individuals and families facing hardship.

The Easter donation helped ensure that families accessing the foodbank could enjoy a seasonal treat alongside essential food parcels, at a time when many are struggling with the rising cost of living. It also continues our support of the charity, following Easter contributions made in both 2024 and 2025.

Julie Gooding, Community Action Development Worker at Peterborough Foodbank, said: “We’d like to thank Allison Homes for the wonderful donation of over 100 Easter eggs. This will make Easter a brighter time for our clients and bring some much needed joy and love to families in crisis in our city. It is wonderful to partner with such a generous organisation, and we are so grateful for their heart and their gifts.”

John Anderson, CEO at Allison Homes, said: “Supporting the communities we build in is incredibly important to us at Allison Homes, and we are proud to support Peterborough Foodbank with this Easter donation.

“We hope this contribution helps to bring joy to local families, and we look forward to continuing to support organisations doing such vital work in the community.”
