You will work closely with site management, construction teams, regional departments and colleagues across the business, providing clear and practical support while monitoring compliance with company standards and relevant UK legislation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking health, safety and environmental inspections and audits, producing clear reports and monitoring actions through to completion
- Providing practical advice, coaching and day-to-day support to site management, construction teams and regional colleagues

- Producing monthly reports covering audits, actions, accidents, incidents, near misses and emerging trends
- Supporting environmental compliance, including waste management, pollution prevention, spill control and site protection measures
- Working collaboratively across the business to improve standards while supporting construction and operational objectives
What We’re Looking For
You will bring a practical and collaborative approach to health and safety. You will be comfortable working independently, managing different priorities and building effective relationships with people at all levels.
You will need:
- A NEBOSH General Certificate or an equivalent health and safety qualification
- A scaffold inspection qualification and/or demonstrable scaffold inspection experience
- Strong working knowledge of current UK health and safety legislation and industry good practice

- Competence in Microsoft Office and related business systems
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regularly across the regions
- A proactive, approachable and solutions-focused working style
Experience within housebuilding or residential construction would be beneficial, although we also welcome applications from candidates with relevant health and safety experience gained in other sectors.
We recognise that candidates may not meet every desirable criterion. If you have the essential qualification and relevant experience, together with the ability to build strong working relationships, we would be pleased to hear from you.
What You’ll Get in Return
We offer a supportive and collaborative working environment in which colleagues are encouraged to develop, contribute ideas and make a difference.
