Chairman of Leicestershire County Council officially opens new show home at Rearsby development
The Chairman of Leicestershire County Council, Councillor Linda Danks, has officially opened the brand-new, five bedroom Dulwich show home at our Auster Meadows development in Rearsby, marking an important milestone for the growing community.
Located on Gaddesby Lane, Auster Meadows is a new development of 65 energy-efficient homes. The scheme includes a choice of one, two, three, four and five bedroom homes for open market sale, alongside a collection of affordable properties.
To celebrate the opening of the show home, we hosted a VIP launch evening on Thursday 3rd September, bringing together local community representatives and businesses to learn more about the homes being delivered at Auster Meadows.
During the evening, Councillor Danks met with members of our team, learnt more about the development, toured the new show home and cut the ribbon to officially declare it open.
Guests enjoyed refreshments while exploring the new show home and had the opportunity to speak with the sales team about the range of homes available at the development.

The Dulwich is a spacious, five bedroom detached home designed for modern family life. Its ground floor includes a dedicated study, a dual-aspect living room and an open-plan kitchen and dining area with French doors leading to the garden. Upstairs are five bedrooms and a family bathroom. The main bedroom includes a walk-in wardrobe and en suite, while the second bedroom also benefits from an en suite.

Rearsby is located close to the A607, providing routes to Leicester and Melton Mowbray, as well as connections to the A1 and M1. Regular rail services are available from Syston railway station.
