Plenty to celebrate in the first year of our new chapter

Our first financial year under new ownership has seen a plethora of successes and achievements, including the launch of our new East Midlands operating region, an impressive 34 per cent increase in the number of homes built and delivering over £2m of vital new infrastructure to communities.

We also launched our new apprenticeship programme, supporting 18 recruits to take their first step on the career ladder, saw a 131 per cent increase in the number of much-needed affordable homes delivered and made donations totalling over £100,000 to a wide range of local charities and community groups in the areas in which we operate.

These are just some of the highlights illustrated in our review of the year from October 2021 to September 2022, the first we have published since a management buyout in November 2021.

John Anderson, Group Chief Executive of Allison Homes, says: “For Allison Homes, 2022 marked the first in our new chapter. Having secured investment for a management buyout we enthusiastically launched our rebrand, introducing our new goals, ambitions, and intentions.

“Our ambitious growth target of delivering over 2,000 homes per year by 2027 has given huge impetus to the whole team. In our first year of operation, we have shown we are well on track to achieve this with over 34% growth in volume year on year. The strength and flexibility of our business also saw us achieve 36% growth in our turnover compared to the previous year.

“Building relationships is key to our ethos, and with this in mind we are delighted to have launched Allison Partnerships last month, dedicated to delivering high-quality affordable homes across our operating regions, ensuring that as a company we are building homes for customers in all parts of the market – private, rented and affordable.

“Recognising the impact development can have, we will continue to invest in and build long-term, strong relationships with local communities by maintaining our programme of charitable giving and supporting community projects in the areas in which we work.”
