Allison Homes East Midlands granted planning permission to bring 50 new homes to Stanton-under-Bardon
Our East Midlands region has been given the green light from Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council to build 50 new homes in the village of Stanton-under-Bardon.
The development, which will be called St Mary’s Chase, will be situated off Main Street, provide a total of 50 two, three and four bedroom mixed tenure properties, and deliver affordable homes in line with the signed S106 agreement associated with the outline planning permission.
The homes have been thoughtfully crafted to meet the aspirations of future homeowners and designed based on in-depth research into their priorities and values. The properties will also include a high-quality specification as standard and use materials that reflect the local vernacular within Stanton-under-Bardon.
The first homes will be available to purchase off plan this spring, and the doors to the development’s show home and marketing suite will be opening in autumn.
Alongside the new homes, our East Midlands team will be implementing a range of biodiversity initiatives on site to encourage nature to grow and thrive. New trees will be planted and the open space on the development will include an attenuation basin seeded with wildflowers.
We will also contribute more than £600,000 to support the existing Stanton-under-Bardon community. More than £250,000 will go towards enhancing local primary and secondary schools, and almost £250,000 will help improve transport infrastructure in Coalville. Almost £30,000 will be contributed to Markfield Medical Centre, £25,000 to Stanton-under-Bardon recreation ground and £40,000 will be put towards providing bus passes to new residents.
Karl Edwards, Operations Director at Allison Homes East Midlands, said: “We are incredibly proud to have received planning approval to provide 50 brand-new homes in Stanton-under-Bardon. We have put a lot of care into designing these homes and are looking forward to delivering them to the highest standard.
“Allison Homes East Midlands is a newly established region, and our team has worked hard on this planning application to ensure St Mary’s Chase is a sustainable community that caters to everyone. We had a fantastic 2024 after acquiring land for four developments in Leicestershire and are looking forward to continuing this success in 2025.”
