Allison Homes Central and Belton Woods Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort sponsor community festival in Grantham
We recently teamed up with Belton Woods Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort to sponsor the Belton Community Festival, held at the impressive Belton Estate.
Belton’s Community Festival took place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September. Visitors were able to take part in a host of activities, listen to talks and demonstrations, and support the local community by purchasing handcrafted goods from arts and crafts stalls. The event also provided free entry to the entire National Trust estate, including the house, gardens and playground.
As part of a long-term partnership, our Central region and Belton Woods Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort jointly sponsored the event, helping it to run for a third year.
Over the weekend, we also ran a LEGO building competition for budding designers to let their creativity shine. Every child who entered the competition was invited to build the best LEGO house they could in five minutes and gifted a kitbag and fidget toy.
In total, we received over 250 entries. The winning design was built by Isaac, aged eight, who won a LEGO Creator 3-in-1 housebuilding set as a prize.
Our support comes as we’re delivering a range of high-quality new homes near Grantham at our Manthorpe Chase development, situated directly opposite Belton Woods Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort.
Laura Shaw, Community, Participation and Volunteering Coordinator at Belton Estate, said: “This year’s festival was a record-breaker with over 12,200 people coming to discover more about what this amazing area has to offer, finding out about local community groups and supporting local makers and traders.

I want to send my heartfelt thanks to you all as well as to everyone who came to the event this year; I hope you’ve found something new to love about our wonderful slice of Lincolnshire!”
