Local housebuilder supports Landkey Primary School with road safety boost for Beep Beep Day

Allison Homes South West has partnered with Landkey Primary School to support this year’s Beep Beep Day on 18th March, helping pupils learn about road safety by donating high-visibility vests for children taking part in the national awareness campaign.

Organised by the road safety charity, Brake, Beep Beep Day encourages schools and nurseries across the UK to teach young children important road safety skills through fun and engaging activities.

To help pupils stay visible and safe, Allison Homes has donated a set of high-visibility vests for use by children at Landkey Primary School.

The initiative forms part of Allison Homes South West’s wider commitment to supporting the communities where it’s building. The company is currently constructing new homes at Tarka Coombe in Landkey and has been working with the school to identify ways in which it can provide practical support.

Alongside the Beep Beep Day donation, Allison Homes is donating building materials to support the school as it develops its new early years outdoor learning area. Once complete, the school’s new outdoor space will give students the opportunity to learn and play in a safe and stimulating environment.

Mrs Austen from Landkey Primary School, said: It is a fantastic opportunity to help children learn important road safety messages from a young age. The high-vis vests donated by Allison Homes will help keep pupils safe when out and about on school trips.

We’re also excited to receive  the housebuilder’s support for our new early years outdoor learning area, which will help us create an engaging space for our youngest pupils to learn and explore.

David Hnyda, Sales Director at Allison Homes South West, added:Supporting the communities where we build is incredibly important to us. We were delighted to be able to help Landkey Primary School pupils learn about road safety in a practical way.

We are also pleased to be supporting the school’s plans to improve its early years outdoor learning area by donating materials to help bring the project to life. We hope both initiatives will continue to benefit pupils and the wider school community in years to come.

By supporting initiatives such as Beep Beep Day and local school projects, Allison Homes South West aims to play a positive role in the communities surrounding its developments.
