Allison Homes Starts Work at Auster Meadows in Rearsby
Our East Midlands team have kicked off 2026 by commencing construction of Auster Meadows in Rearsby, our fourth site in the region to break ground!
Our new eight-acre development will offer 65 energy efficient homes, including 47 two, three, four and five bedroom homes available through open market sale, and 18 one, two and three bedroom affordable homes.
From the iconic Seven Arch Bridge to the calming brook that meanders through its centre, life in Rearsby is an escape from the hustle and bustle, while still being brilliantly well-connected. Leicester and Melton Mowbray are accessed in under 20 minutes via road, with the nearby Syston Station providing easy links to Nottingham, Lincoln and London.

Detailed research has been undertaken to ensure the house designs are based on the needs and aspirations of future homeowners, as well as aiming for an authentic appearance to complement the village’s history.
This includes traditional rooflines, feature chimneys and ornate brickwork, usually found on older, traditional cottages. The majority of homes will be two and three bedroom properties to cater for first-time buyers, families and downsizers alike, with a selection of homes built to be accessible and adaptable for those with mobility needs.
