Allison Homes Central supports Whittlesey Scout Group with raffle prize donation

We’re proud to continue supporting our local communities by donating a selection of hampers to the Whittlesey Scout Group, which were used as prizes in a fundraising raffle.

Whittlesey is home to our upcoming Violet Meadows development, which will deliver 175 two, three and four bedroom homes on Drybread Road, 35 of which will be affordable. The development sits north of our existing Whittlesey Green site and benefits from excellent amenities, schools and transport links.

The Whittlesey Scout Group provides young people aged four to 18 with opportunities to learn valuable life skills, build confidence and take part in a wide range of fun and adventurous activities. From camping and climbing to kayaking and team challenges, the group plays an important role in helping local children develop new skills and friendships.

The raffle helped raise funds to support these activities, ensuring more members can take part in camps and outdoor experiences, as well as purchase new equipment such as paddleboards.

This is the second time we’ve supported Whittlesey Scout Group, following a raffle donation made earlier in the year.

Fran Cox, at Whittlesey Scout Group, said: “Whittlesey Scout Group would like to thank Allison Homes for their continued support of providing raffle prizes for our fundraising events. We held a quiz evening in October and raised a fantastic amount. The two hampers provided by Allison Homes made a great contribution towards the evenings’ total. The money raised at this event will go towards our ‘getting on the water project’ and replace worn out camping equipment.”
