Reporting to the Sales Manager, as one of our valued Sales Executives, your role is primarily to provide the day-to-day sales function on one of our developments and to be the primary Allison Homes contact for current and potential customers.

The main purpose of the role is to provide a professional service to all our customers with the aim of achieving sale and financial targets on allocated developments. You will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to enable you to build a professional rapport with customers to understand their needs and requirements. These should encompass listening and questioning abilities, empathy, product demonstration, and closing techniques

You will have responsibility for delivering the customer journey in accordance with Allison Homes’ standards, procedures, and targets.

Sales experience in New Homes is preferable, but not essential as full training will be provided. Please note that this position is being offered on a temporary 6-month contract based at our site in North Tawton, Devon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Target Achievement: Meet new homes sales targets as agreed.
  • Sales Closing: Proven ability to effectively close sales and drive results.
  • Database Management: Manage the COINS database effectively (training provided).
  • Enquiry Response: Respond promptly and effectively to visits, telephone calls, and emails.
  • Paperwork & Administration: Ensure all site administration and paperwork are accurate, up-to-date, and GDPR compliant.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate with customers, solicitors, and estate agents on sales progression and construction matters.
  • Literature Management: Maintain accurate stocks of literature and price lists.
  • Site Plan Coordination: Ensure site plans are up-to-date and align with Site Manager versions.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about competitor products, pricing, sales, and market trends.
  • Show Home Presentation: Maintain the presentation of show homes, the marketing suite, and off-site sales signage.
  • Marketing & PR: Contribute to Marketing and PR proposals.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to company Health & Safety standards.
  • Customer Needs Management: Understand and act upon customer needs to uphold the company reputation.
  • Time Management: Maintain good timekeeping and manage an electronic diary system effectively.

  • Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle for business travel.
