Allison Homes Central supports much-loved Deepings Raft Race
We’re proud to be supporting this year’s Deepings Raft Race, taking place close to our Beaufort Gardens development in Market Deeping.
Held annually on the first Sunday of August, the Deepings Raft Race has been bringing the local community together on the River Welland since the 1960s. The much-loved event sees teams build their own rafts and take to the water in themed races, cheered on by crowds along the riverbank.
This year’s event will take place on Sunday 2nd August, with the 2026 theme confirmed as ‘Marvellous Musicals’. Participants are being encouraged to take inspiration from stage favourites, from The Sound of Music to modern hits including Six and Wicked, bringing plenty of creativity, colour and show-stopping fun to the river.
To support the event we’ve donated £500, helping organisers to continue delivering one of the highlights of the summer in the Deepings.
