New Group Partnership Director joins growing team

We are pleased to have welcomed a new Group Partnership Director, to help deliver our ambitious growth plans.

Ian Jackson, from Lincoln, joins the team bringing with him over 30 years of experience in the housing sector. Beginning his career in the industry after graduating from London South Bank Polytechnic with a degree in Quantity Surveying, Ian previously spent 13 years with the Longhurst Group.

Ian, who now lives in Barnack, Peterborough, enjoys golfing, traveling and walking with his wife of 33 years, Tessa, and three adult sons, said: “I feel passionately about affordable housing. We need all tenures of housing, as many people in the UK are renters or shared owners. Around 20 million people don’t own their own home, so there is a significant impact if housebuilders like ourselves don’t provide affordable homes.

“I was initially attracted to Allison Homes due to its exciting growth plans, as in the next five years we will be delivering an additional 500 affordable homes every year.”

Ian will work across all three regions of Allison Homes, Central, Eastern Counties and South West, covering developments in Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Rutland, Newark, Northamptonshire, Norfolk, Devon and Somerset.

Ian added: “My goal is to build Allison Homes’ network across the three regions and bring in new partners through my existing contacts. Partnerships is a different strand of activity for Allison Homes, and we are currently building two developments in Northamptonshire that will be completely affordable, and sold to our housing association partners.

“I am thrilled to have joined Allison Homes. There is a great culture at Allison Homes and a real sense of togetherness, as everyone operates with a genuine ‘can do’ attitude. People here want to be a part of something bigger, and I’m delighted to have been welcomed into the team.”

John Anderson, CEO of Allison Group, said: “Ian is a valuable addition to the company and brings with him a wealth of knowledge, connections and experience that will help us achieve our exciting growth plans, and form lasting partnerships with housing associations across the region.

“I wish Ian the best of luck in his role, and look forward to seeing the outcomes of his expertise going forward.”
