Telehandler Forklift Driver
On our construction site, our Telehandler Forklift Driver is a key member of our family, you’ll ensure the safe storage, movement and handling of deliveries and materials around the development – safely, quickly and efficiently – ensuring everything is in the right place at the right time.
We are recruiting for an experienced Telehandler Forklift Driver to join our Central Region, to be site based on our brand-new development The Orchards in the village of Corby Glen.
The duties of our Telehandler Forklift Driver are to move materials safely around our site, check deliveries and ensure the correct storage and distribution around the site, all in a safe and timely manner. Safety is key – it is your responsibility to ensure safe access and walkways, to ensure skips are used correctly and waste materials are managed in line with our waste polices.
Your duties will include:
- Loading and unloading of materials from a variety of vehicles
- Checking the quality of material delivered to site
- The storage and distribution of materials on site
- Moving pallet-packed materials around the site or storage facility
- Ensuring materials are moved safely on and around the site
- Monitor and maintain safe access and walkways
- Maintain a clean and safe site at all times
- To ensure skips are used correctly and tipping skips are emptied correctly in line with our wate management policy
- Comply with and uphold company policies and procedures at all time
- Undertake any additional tasks as may reasonably be required from time to time
The ideal candidate
Our ideal Telehandler Forklift Driver will hold valid Reach and Counterbalance licences and be self-motivated, proactive and with an enthusiastic work ethic.
