Job Description Summary

We are looking to reinforce and support our Technical team by the appointment of a Technical and Land Administrator/ trainee design coordinator. The general requirements and attributes for this vacancy are detailed below and although previous experience would be helpful, it is not essential as full training and development will be provided. Our key focus is to secure the right person who will be a team player and blend in with our team ethos and work ethic. Whilst this is primarily an administration role presently, there is no reason why the right person could not development and grow into the design coordinator role.

The role:

  • Schedule regular meetings and record minutes and actions (e.g. assigned tasks and next steps)
  • Work with Project Managers and other stakeholders to keep projects coordinated and up to date
  • Follow up on actions with team members as agreed
  • Procurement, including ordering and tracking of resources and supply chain
  • Create and track Purchase Orders utilising COINs and specific trackers
  • Assist to collate & support Monthly Project Reports and monitor trackers
  • Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Monitor progress and communicate potential issues as directed
  • Act as document controller using software provided (training will be provided) including drawing issue.
  • Maintain Project Data Storage Structure across the working environment.
  • Create & Manage Asset Registers
  • Supporting other Operations & functions as required.
  • Assist and develop into the role of a trainee design coordinator supporting the established and experienced technical team.

What we are looking for:

  • Proactive and happy to work alone on specific tasks as well as part of a team
  • Efficient time management
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
  • Be confident using IT systems, including Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
  • Motivated to learn and develop

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in the construction environment beneficial but not essential
  • Experience in building relationships with supply chain and stakeholders
  • Technical background (not essential) or a keen willingness to learn and develop into an exciting role
