The Receptionist role

The receptionist is responsible for the effective running of the reception area and the first contact most people make with the Company.

Always promoting the Company in a professional and organised manner. Punctuality and tidiness are essential.

Key Duties

  • Operating the entry and exit barriers for visitors. Answering and directing calls through the switchboard
  • Completing administrative tasks like filing, dealing with post and franking
  • Organising, and maintaining the reception area
  • Ordering stationery supplies for the East Region and Group Office
  • Signing in visitors and supplying them visitor’s badges
  • Setting up meeting facilities, arranging for catering for meetings and daily office use
  • Greeting visitors to the facility office and offering them help immediately.
  • Providing customer support when handling queries and complaints via phone, email, and general correspondence
  • Interacting with all other departments. Scheduling appointments, meeting times
  • Representing the business with a positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Delivering an elevated level of customer service to internal and external customers

Who are we looking for?

Someone with a bight warm welcoming smile, excellent time management skills and who can prioritise key tasks, be proactive in supporting any of the Allison Homes team.

An understanding of Microsoft, outlook and can operate a telephony system.
